Movie poster feedback. Questionnaire results and Analysis.

For the movie poster that I have made, I have decided to get feedback on them to see what people thought about them and if they represented the movie well. Analysis

The first thing I noticed was that all of the people I questioned were already aware of the film, so the people I questioned already knew this film was a PG action comedy which is a sequel about a mall cop named Paul Blart. From these limited results I got, I can see that all three of my posters do tell the audience that the film Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 is a action comedy film. I also noticed that the people I questioned said that all three of the posters were appropriate for a PG rated film. On the first draft of my poster, one person I questioned said that they didn't like that poster but that is to be expected as that poster was a test for thing to come. On the other two drafts, everybody said that they did like the poster. Something similar happened for my last question where I asked "Would you watch this film after seeing this film?" and one person responded saying that they would not watch this film after seeing this poster. Again I feel that this is to be expected as it was my first draft and more of a test. For my second poster draft, I didn't get any responses saying they didn't want to see Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 after seeing this poster. In my third and final draft, two people said they would like to see this poster, while one person said they wouldn't want to watch Paul Blart Mall Cop 2. The one person saying they wouldn't want to watch Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 might suggest that I still need to put more effort into these posters.

If I had to improve my final poster, I would put the films tagline onto the poster, as this tells the audience what type of comedy film this is. I would also look for better images of Paul Blart to crop and paste onto the poster. I would then use a better background image as the background image is feels out of scale and out of place as the main image of Paul Blart's don't look like he is standing on the ground.
